  1. TOSHINDEN PC CD DEMO
  2.  
  3. Before doing anything else, you should first run SETUP to configure the
  4. system for your current sound needs. Please ignore the MIDI area for this
  5. demo and concentrate on the Digital Device selection. You may select auto
  6. detect for your Digital Device or customize it yourself.
  7.  
  8. Type TSD to start the demo.  To list the command line options please type
  9.  
  10. TSD -h
  11.  
  12. This command will give you a list of options that you can implement prior to
  13. starting the demo by typing
  14.  
  15. TSD -(any command listed in the help file)
  16.  
  17. After the intro. (hit ESC to skip), you will be presented with the main
  18. select screen. Choose the selections with the Up & Down arrow keys and press
  19. Enter to begin.
  20. One player game - the computer will choose your opponent.
  21. Two player game  - your friend will choose the opposing character.
  22. Vs. computer game  - you can pick the computer's character.
  23.  
  24. You may also select OPTIONS to alter the difficulty level, bout length,
  25. keyboard configuration, etc.  Please note that the STRENGTH option only
  26. has an effect in a two player game, use the difficulty level to make the
  27. game easier or harder.  The option FIGHTER COMPLEXITY allows you to select
  28. either high or low polygon fighters, which affects the frame rate at which
  29. the game will run, and how good the fighters will look.

  31. The first time it runs, the program evaluates the performance of your computer,
  32. and adjusts the default rendering quality accordingly.  You can change the
  33. rendering parameters and screen resolution at any time using the OPTIONS
  34. selection during the fight (hit Esc and select OPTIONS), or the FIGHTER
  35. COMPLEXITY OPTION just mentioned.

  37. If you did not select TSD -j, which is the command to play with a gamepad,
  38. then your keyboard commands on default will be as follows--
